A design experiment workshop at Kinderwelt am Feld for queer youth in which feelings and emotions are expressed through the creation and transformation of handmade piñatas.

After a warm-up phase to establish a physical and emotional connection with each other and the space, children will engage in a collective dialogue: How can we translate our feelings into a piñata made of papier-mâché, wood, clay, and Styrofoam?

After they put gifts in their piñata, hanged them and each one broke another person’s piñata to get the gifts.
