at Magma Maria

Segments was an opportunity to create alternatives and furnish the space for social relations to accommodate other ways in which cultural value can be formed. It was an attempt to have a temporary cultural center open to the public and stitching together subspaces in order to withdraw and withhold from the daily contracts through a focus on exchange of things and feelings in the time of pandemic.

Magma Maria was a vacant potential store in a plaza next to a port with cafes and restaurants in front of it.
