The Color Curtain Roundtables
Visual Identity Design: Visual Research, Logo, Colors, Typography, Layout, Illustration, Presentation, Banners, Website, Newsletter, Social Media
Insight
The visual concept for this project draws inspiration from the Bandung conference, its bulletin and an iconic bridge in Bandung. Triangular shapes, developed with varying angles and sizes, serve as prominent design elements. These triangles are used as headers, dividers, and visual cues throughout the materials.

Logo
A simplified line version of the bridge is incorporated into the logo, announcements, and additional design requirements.

Colors
The color palette plays a pivotal role beyond mere decoration. Six tint colors are selected to represent primary and secondary colors as one palette, offering a soft, non-pretentious aesthetic that connects text and images. To maintain a sense of power and contrast, three sharp shade colors are applied to titles, lines and website’s menu items and interactive elements to keep a balance between visual clarity and thematic expression.

Typography

Illustration
A structure of transparency, multiplicity, and overlay is designed, challenging common digital layering logic of multiply or overlay mode. This unconventional approach to color interplay reflects the conference’s theme of diversity and
inclusiveness.
